How to Use:

Boil water in a kettle or small pot. The water should be steaming hot but not necessarily boiling.

Place your garri into a bowl. You can use 1 to 2 cups of garri depending on how much you want to make.

Pour the hot water slowly into the garri. Start with about 1 to 1.5 cups of water, and adjust according to the texture you prefer.

Be careful while adding the hot water to avoid burning yourself.

Use a wooden spoon or spatula to stir the garri and water together. Initially, it will look like a lumpy mixture, but keep stirring until it becomes smooth and consistent. The garri will absorb the hot water and begin to form into a soft, dough-like texture.

If you prefer your eba soft, you can add more water; if you want it firmer, add less water.

Cover the bowl for about 1-2 minutes to allow the eba to set and become firmer.

Some people prefer to let it cool down a bit before eating, while others like it hot.

Once the eba has cooled slightly, you can use your spoon to mold it into a smooth, round ball or portion into individual servings.

Your eba is ready to be served! It's best eaten with soups like egusi, ogbono, vegetable soup, or any West African stew. Simply dip small portions of eba into the soup and enjoy.
